  1. MUG - a single-user multi-user-game                        (C) Computerman, 1989

  4. This version of MUG is designed to run on an IBM PC-or-compatible with a hard
  5. disk and at least 256k RAM.  We recommend that you create a directory for this
  6. game, called MUG;  i.e. type MD MUG at the C> command prompt, and then copy the
  7. contents of the MUG floppy-disk to this directory by typing COPY A:*.* \MUG.
  8.     MUG's files are stored in an archive called MUG.ARC, and you must extract
  9. these files before playing.  To do so, you will need the unpacker PKXARC.COM.
  10. Simply type PKXARC MUG, to extract the files.  (See note below)
  11.     These files are archived because - while this is a beta-test version - no
  12. text-compression has been used, and MUG's files are at present just too large
  13. to squeeze onto a single floppy.

  15.     Then, you enter the world of MUG simply by typing MUG.

  28. N.B. for this BB beta-test version the files are in two sections, called
  29. MUG1.ARC and MUG2.ARC, so you'll need to type PKXARC MUG1, then PKXARC MUG2.
  30. Make sure all the files end up in the same directory!
